So I believe I read somewhere in the manuals that you can not assign security roles in client scripts.

I have an application where I would like to assign security to a few screens in my project based on which thin client logs in. I found a way to know which thin client is active, but have not found a solution yet for "if this thin client is signed in, assign user role “Station 1”.

Can this be done?

Ahh I think i found it. In the project properties is the ability to enable User Management Permissions.
Wish me luck. [https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Project+Properties#ProjectProperties-ClientPermissions](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Project+Properties#ProjectProperties-ClientPermissions)
