# SerializationException error

Hi,  
I am trying to open one screen from the demo proiect that I downloaded from Sepasoft website. The screen has MES Equipment Manager component .  
But I see below error. Any idea what is this? And how to resolve?  
I am using Ignition v 8.1.18 with the prodcution module (from Sepasoft) at 3.81.5

I restarted the project, restarted the PC, tried to add same component on new screen, but nothing has worked so far…

Error is:  
SerializationException: Error deserializing element “\<c”  
caused by GatewayException: Try request again once production model has started. Use system.mes.isProductionStarted()  
caused by IllegalStateException: Try request again once production model has started. Use system.mes.isProductionStarted()

Looks like a Sepasoft bug. You should contact their support.

I know this is an old thread but wondering if a solution was ever found. I am currently having the same issue.
