# Server Crash

I am wondering why the following code crashed my server?

`SELECT *
FROM LoadTestTrend
inner join [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestResults]
on [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestTrend].LoadTester = [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestResults].LoadTester
Where [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestTrend].T_STAMP between (SELECT Start FROM LoadTestResults Where Key_NDX = {Root Container.RecipeNdx}) AND 
		(SELECT Stop FROM LoadTestResults Where Key_NDX = {Root Container.RecipeNdx})
Order By [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestTrend].T_STAMP`

I was using this code in a report data sqlquery

what happens if you run it in your databases management studio? How many rows does it return?

It returns 111 rows 0 sec.  
Would the brackets cause an issue?  
Also it won’t work unless i have it like the following in management studios.

`SELECT *
FROM [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestTrend]
Where T_STAMP between (SELECT Start FROM [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestResults] Where Key_NDX = 34922) AND 
(SELECT Stop FROM [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestResults] Where Key_NDX = 34922) and loadtester like 165
Order By [Thermoplastics].[dbo].[LoadTestTrend].T_STAMP`
