# Server says that it's offline for licensing

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen the license management section say that the server is offline even though the server has access to the internet? I am getting ready to transfer the license from this server to a new server and this weird issue keeps happening. It’s running Ignition version 7.9.9. I can’t find a reason why it wouldn’t be able to get out, windows firewall is off and I can get on the internet just fine from the server. Is it maybe an issue with that version of Ignition? Version 8 works fine.
