Is anyone aware of a way to set the Ccient timezone on login? We would like to provide the option for users to set a timezone or timezone offset, then change the client timezone to their specified timezone upon login perhaps in the startup script.

Ideally, we would just write to System/Client/User/Timezone but since it is a system tag, we are not able to write to it.

You can force the timezone for a java program using the native client launcher’s [custom launch settings](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Native+Client+Launchers#NativeClientLaunchers-CustomLaunchSettings); specifically the `jvm-arg` which would be [`-Duser.timezone`](https://docs.oracle.com/javase/9/troubleshoot/time-zone-settings-jre.htm#JSTGD378).
