# Set table cell to not editable

I am trying to figure out how I can set specific table cells to not be editable. I have a column that is set to “Editable” but I have specific values in that column that i do not want the user to be able to edit. Any suggestions would be great!

I don’t think there is a way to disable editing per cell, but you could always check the value of the cell before saving and ignore changes. Or add a hidden column with 1 for editable, 0 for not and check that in OnCellEdited

```auto
if self.data.getValueAt(rowIndex,YourColumnNumber)=="0":
	pass
else:
   YourUpdateQuery()
```
