# Signature Pad Database upload

Is there a function to use the getBytes for a signature in the signature pad in Perspective.

In the onSignatureSubmitted action there is no reference the the getBytes object whereas other documentation I have found states this as an accessible object which can be used in the same way as a file upload script displayed on the link below.

Version 8.0.13. I have uploaded an image showing the event script for onSignatureSubmitted.
