My company is still using 8.1.37. I know tsk tsk. We have downloaded 8.3 beta and are planning to migrate but before November I need to update our Snowflake database connection. We are currently using snowflake-jdbc-3.10.3.jar. I have tried every more recent version but the connection fails. I know the java version is adequate. I copied the error I am getting below. I haven’t made any changes to the translator setup that is working in 3.10. Also, I am using ‘Generic’ Driver Type. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (JDBC driver internal error: exception creating result java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class net.snowflake.client.jdbc.internal.apache.arrow.memory.util.MemoryUtil at net.snowflake.client.jdbc.internal.apache.arrow.memory.ArrowBuf.getDirectBuffer(ArrowBuf.java:231).)

Thanks for the quick response. It appears that did the trick. At least the database connection is valid now.
