# Store and Forward HyperSQL Directory

Can anyone point me toward the directory where Ignition stores the store and forward data? I’d like to monitor the size of the file over time.

`$installationDirectory/data/datacache`. There will be a folder with the same name as each DB connection you have; the _entire folder_ is the HSQLDB, so if you’re going to try to do backups or anything make sure you get it all.
