I'm not sure if I'm using the designer wrong, or if something is broken, but I cannot drag and drop components. When I try, I am met with the 'no' symbol. Any help to understand what's wrong would be appreciated.

You're using a breakpoint container. Choose `small` or `large` from the `Children` options in the Breakpoint configuration and design your views there.

Sometimes I have to close and reopen the view. If you right click on a component, are the copy paste delete options greyed out?

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right, but I can drag one component into each child, but then no more. One component steals the entire view, and I can't resize or move it by any obvious means. I selected the child view from the Perspective Property Editor. I couldn't find anything labelled Breakpoint Configuration.

The view itself is a breakpoint container which you can only add a single component to for each breakpoint. You should add a container type like flex into it, or drag in an embedded view, or if you didn't want a breakpoint view, recreate it using something else (like a flex)
