Hi there,
I am currently using Ignition v8.02

Is there anyway I can copy paste the whole lot onto an excel spreadsheet and once finished modifying paste from excel back to the dataset?

I’d like to do something like AB panelview where you can copy paste the whole lot of data from excel to Local Messages…

Cheers

Pop up the manual dataset editor for the property, then you can copy/paste as Ignition’s internal CSV format. I always use a text editor for such, but it probably will work with Excel, too. Be sure to adjust the row count in the header lines before pasting back into Ignition.

Thank you @pturmel, ya export/import from/to excel worked and able to adjust the row count helped. Cheers
