# SVG Element ID's - Binding Performance

Ignition 8.1 - Perspective

I noticed that when importing an SVG into a Perspective view, specifically embedding the image, that it auto populates id's.

Binding's on the SVG elements work without using IDs, but I am wondering... **Does NOT including IDs in the SVG elements reduce binding performance?**

No, in my experience there is no performance gain/loss from the inclusion (or not) of IDs.
