# Tag history binding - range

Hi everyone.

I have a start counter that increments and is stored as an historian, and id like to show a Timeseries chart with starts per hour. I'm trying to use calculations but having some hiccups.

My custom bindings

Standard wide binding on the chart

Wide returns (accumulated value):

Then changing to Calculations, adding Range and setting Periodic to 1 hour. Is this the same as Interval?

I can't get the result Id like this way. One thing that I notice is that Query mode always changes from Periodic to Point count (100) after clicking OK and opening the binding again?

Is there support for the way I'd like it to work, if yes. What am I missing?
