A good starting point:

> [@Tag Change Missed Events](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/tag-change-missed-events/37764):

> What does the missed events parameter mean in a tag change script? Does it mean that one script failed to execute because it changed so fast? I have several tags that change at fast at most 10 per second. Does the missed event true mean it failed to a tag change script on a a change?

You might check your gateway Status / Diagnostics / Running Scripts page to quickly visualize any long running scripts.

You might also find [Tag Diagnostics](https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.1/platform/tags/tag-diagnostics) useful. Right-click on a tag –\> View Diagnostics to check for anything out-of-norm.
