# Tag Value not writing in the igntion

created template with numeric inputs and mapped with template parameter and used that template in a popup window and created parameter similar to the template parameter while calling the popup window with the parameter it works only with reading data but when tried to write the value on the tag it is nor working. but when we use the same tag and bind it directly with the numeric entry field i t works. kindly provide the best approach.(note i can use indirect method as each tag will be different from other and configured bidirectional also)

When it doesn’t work, are your bindings set Bi-directional?

yes i have set the binding bidirectional.  
tag write is not working when we write the tag from popup window which has the template from where we were not able to write the tag.

If you can share screen clippings of config on each step, we’ll have a better idea where things might be going wrong.
