# Template Properties

In the Project Browser window, the properties tab on a template does not update as expected. To reproduce the problem open a template and expand the tree item. Then click on any component in that template. The properties update. Then click back to the template root. It does not update. This works fine in 7.6.

I’m running 7.7.0-rc2

Hi

This had me head scratching for a while wondering how a template is working with no properties
