Perspective table cells don’t seem to interpret HTML, and the ‘n’ and ‘r’ escapes don’t seem to function. ’ ’ did not seem to work either. Is there a way to format text within Perspective table cells?

I’m not sure about any other formatting, but you can change the whiteSpace style to pre, pre-wrap, or pre-line to preserve real line breaks. (I typically use pre-line, since I still want accidental double-spaces to go away. Use pre to preserve double-spaces, as well.) Then just add them in, or format them with “\n” in Python.

You can change the style at any level from the cell to the overall table.
