I’m trying to troubleshoot an app that has been running for several years. I believe it is a database latency issue and am trying to prove it. Weird thing is, the transaction group is setting the failure tag, but looking at the transaction group, i’m not seeing failed transactions. Any ideas?

I would look at the date on the failure tag and then go back through the server logs.
Might be something in there to get you pointed in the right direction?

Update, the PLC is actually setting the failure flag if the data ready bit has been set for 10 seconds and we do not get a success or failure handshake from the transaction group. We took that out of the PLC temporarily and the transaction group just hangs (over 2 minutes). Is there a way to control the timeout on the transaction group?

Thanks,
Bryan
