Hi, I am facing an issue while importing Transaction Groups programmatically using the `system.groups.loadFromFile()` function. ### Environment - Ignition Version: **8.3.6** - Module: **SQL Bridge / Transaction Groups** - Execution Scope: **Perspective Button onClick Event** - Project Name: **Test** ### Scenario I exported an existing Transaction Group to an XML file and attempted to import it using the following script: path = r"C:\Users\Z37322\Downloads\FH2TGXMLFile.xml" result = system.groups.loadFromFile(path, "Test", 1) system.perspective.print("Result = " + str(result)) Show more lines ### Observations 1. The XML file exists and is accessible. import os print(os.path.exists(path)) Output: True 1. The script executes without any exception. 2. The function returns: Result = None 1. No Transaction Groups are created or visible under: Transaction Groups -\> Test 1. Do you have the designer open when running? If so after pressing the button can you hit save to see if the group shows up? Or Closing the designer and reopening it? ---

Yes, I checked all the required steps. I would reach out to support, they would be able to dive in deeper why this isnt working, I have tried this in 8.3.6 and 8.3.8 and Its working as expected for me, I have tried groups at root level and inside folders. ---

I don't think so, just the shift -\> right click -\> legacy export method. Currently there is no way to export the xml using scripting, Like @Bushmatic said it is a shift -\> Right click in the designer. Also I would vote on the feature request this helps give visibility.
