# Trigger Alarm Pipeline From SFC Chart

We are currently triggering an SMS notification from an SFC using the alarming property on a tag. Is there a way to invoke a alarm pipeline directly from a SFC chart? I would think this would be similar to starting the execution on a chart from the client where you can pass parameters into the chart from the client.
