# UDT Parameter not working

I have a system on site that I have created a series of UDT tags for.

Normally the tags work fine but i needed to add a tag group for historizing them.

When i added a parameter for the tag group and then edited the UTD to look at that parameter for the tag group the tags stopped working. I just got blank spaces where the values used to be and the values stopped updating. I went to each UDT tag and inputted its new parameter for the tag group.

Is there something I'm missing? Do I need to recreate these tags from scratch to get them to accept the new parameters in the udt?
