I am attempting to create an OPC-UA connection to KEPServerEX but I am receiving the following error: 'io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedSocketException: Permission denied: getsockopt: /10.10.100.100:49320'

Ignition version is 8.1.42 and I have already installed certificates on both Ignition and KEPServer. I have also successfully connected to this instance of KEPServer from a trial Ignition setup.

I have already done a lot of searching but haven't been able to find anything specific to the 'Permission denied' reference to 'getsockopt'. I apologize if I missed it.

Thanks.

Yes, but I’m not sure how. Our IT Department made some network changes that fixed the problem. I think it was related to some security software blocking the port, possibly ColorTokens?
