# Unable to delete old/stale tags from MQTT engine

In 8.1rc3 I am unable to delete tags from the MQTT engine in the Tag Browser. I was trying to do so for some that are Bad\_Stale but I get the following error. I was able to delete them in a project that was in 8.0.16 I think (definitely 8.0.x).
