# Unable to Start Designer in Linux (Ignition v8.1.18)

In the log files the launcher should log the full command it uses to launch the designer. Can you copy/paste that into a terminal and run it and then attach the full output here?

(something like in [this post](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/javafx-in-ignition-8-module/24589/12))
