I recently tried updating my local installation of version 8.1.10 by downloading the latest version of Ignition and running the .exe as an administrator, but when I do I briefly see the ignition logo and then nothing happens. I’ve watched my task manager while doing this and don’t notice a change in any of the active processes.

Thinking that there may have been something wrong with my installation, I tried fully uninstalling the software first, but have been unsuccessful in doing so. I’ve tried uninstalling via:

- Settings \> Apps & Features \> Ignition \> Uninstall
- Control Panel \> Uninstall a program \> Ignition \> Uninstall
- Navigating to Install Directory\Inductive Automation\Ignition and running Uninstall.exe as an administrator

Has anyone run into a similar issue and found a resolution?

I have the same problem and follow the same options with no luck.
