I am trying to control setpoints for VAVs using a distech JACE on ignition. When I try and change the value of one of the imported tags, I get the error “Error writing to Present\_Value.value: Bad("Bad\_NotWritable: The access level does not allow writing to the Node.")”

From the logs I see:

This is how I’ve set up the Local and remote Bacnet devices on the gateway:

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

That error indicates that the **device** sent the access denied error. I would look in your device's settings.

As Phil said, the device is responding with `write-access-denied`.

What kind of Object is this Present\_Value property on?

It’s a Bacnet Analog Value. I have igntion writing on priority 8 (have tried others) and ensured that the Bacnet role is set up properly in niagara. I’ve tried writing to it from other bacnet clients and having the same issue, so my problem is likely isolated to niagara
