# Understanding Perspective Authentication

I’m sure I have something setup wrong. But I can’t find it…  
To make sure I understand:

- I setup a new user source with some roles and users
- I setup a new identity provider that points to the new user source
- I added the same roles to the security levels (Case sensitive)

I’m using a Binding ‘isAuthorized(false,“Authenticated/Roles/ProductEditor”)’ - always returns false.

Are my assumptions wrong?

I answered my own question. The project properties were pointed to the default user source. 😕
