# Unexpected Failover to Backup Server

Last week one of our clients experienced an unexpected failover to their backup Ignition server. Running version 7.8.3. I have reviewed the log files and see an issue, but do not understand what happened. The Master server was not shut down. The failover event occurred on 9/1 at 19:26.

Any help resolving the underlying issue would be greatly appreciated.
