# Update on alarm functionality in Perspective?

The newest thread I found about this was from November, so at the risk of asking you a question you are tired of answering already: will “traditional” basic SCADA elements be added to Perspective?

I am thinking primarily of Alarm Summary at this time.

Yes, but they won’t all be there for the initial 8.0 release.
