Is there a way to specify the user.id when writing the queries for a manual Database User Source? Inside my session props you can see the id and userName are the same. I need the id to be the column jdeEmployeeId in my auth.Person table, while the userName can stay as is (auth.Person.personId). I know the column naming is confusing, sorry.

Post the actual queries with formatting. (Use the `</>` button)

If you're on 8.3, you can return a column named `useruuid`, and we'll use whatever string value you return as the user's "id" property.

I don't think a similar capability exists for 8.1.

Unfortunately I am on 8.1. So the id just defaults to be the same as the userName in 8.1? I suppose I’ll need to update the userName to come from the jdeEmployeeId column then.

Yes, in 8.1 whatever username was supplied in the query is what will be returned as the ID.
