# User management component does not work since update

I updated from 7.6 to 7.7.3 and now the user management component is giving me an error when i add, delete, or edit user names.

“Save failed. com.inductivautomation.ignition.client.gateway\_interface\_GatewayException:You are not authorized to modify the Gateway system user source.”

The “Allow User Admin” setting, which is found in the Gateway Settings on the Gateway Configuration page, was added in 7.6.7 and 7.7.0. This setting prevents user source edits via the User Management Component, and is set to false by default as a security measure. Enabling this setting should fix the issue.
