I’ve set up an AD LDAP user source with ignition gateway default as failover source.
It works as expected, if the user can’t be found on AD it will use the default user source on the gateway.

The problem I have is that I can’t get the user management component to work.
I would like to add or edit users in the gateway default user source with that component.

Are those functions disabled when you enable AD?

We are running 7.9.10
Allow User Admin is enabled on the gateway.

Thank’s in advance!

Ignition can’t manage AD users, since Active Directory is in charge of that.

However, you can add or edit users in the gateway default user source with that component.

Take a look at the “User Source” property. If you set that to ‘default’ (or whatever you’ve named the failover source), it should give you the ability to edit that user source instead of the AD one.

Thank’s, that solved my problem. 🙂
