Hello:
I’m trying to extract the data from another database to which a different OPC server is writing. I cannot access those tags directly. I can extract the data from that database to a table in my ignition software, but I’m wondering if there is any I can plot that data using easy chart? Please let me know.

Thank you very much in advance,
Shwetha.

Set up Database Pens in your [EasyChart](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Easy+Chart). Point the database pens at the datasource and table of interest.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried, but it is not working. It is not displaying any data. Could you please let me know if I am missing any steps?

Thanks,

Do **NOT** bind your data to the `pens` property!
Use the Chart Customizer to configure your pens and let the _ **chart** _ do the queries _ **itself** _.
