# ValueChanged scripts run when the Gateway is Stopping and Running

Good afternoon.

In **Ignition 8.0.9** , I have seen in the logs that the _ **ValueChanged scripts** _ are executed when I restart the server: both when it is STOPPING and when it is RUNNING:

- Stopping:

This is a problem because a **value change has not really occurred.**

For more information, I start all my scripts like this (to avoid the first execution or initial subscription), but it doesn’t work:
