# Vision components offset bug

Hello,

Suddenly all of my components including the window shifted to the right just not visually. Restarted designer and problem still happens. It's only in one template but not the others?

I checked window location and it says 0,0 so that's the root problem i guess. Basically the window 0,0 is not true 0,0.

I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but when I'm doing something like updating bindings, _sometimes_, when I click back into the root container, the component I had selected will _ **jump** _ to the mouse cursor's location. Of course, my instinct is to "undo," but this undoes whatever I did prior to unexpected component move. The only solution is to simply drag the component back where it belongs.

I've seen this bug discussed elsewhere in the forum, so I know it's been around a while. Perhaps that's what you've experienced here.

Was the solution ever presented? I encounter this bug frequently and it is incredibly annoying.

Not that I'm aware of, and yes; it is annoying.

Anybody from IA want to weigh in? Has anybody seen this behavior in 8.3?

I've never seen it at all. (Perhaps because I run my designers in Linux.)
