I’m using the latest release of Ignition (8.0.12) and am wondering if I would be able to run a vision project on a Surface Pro tablet without using perspective? If so, what are the drawbacks?

Running an Ignition 8 Vision Client requires that the device supports Java/JDK 11. I don’t know if this is the case for Surface Pro tablets or not.

Most of the Surface Pro lineup should ‘just work’ - they’re x86-64, full Windows machines. The Surface Pro X may be a little trickier; it’s running ARM, so you may have to source your own runtime for Vision clients/the designer.
