# Vision - Tag Browser Tree

Hi, I’m trying to run the filterTag() function of the tree, when in “Historical” mode.  
-It seems this is not possible?, Working only in “Realtime” mode?  
-Or am I missing something 😉

PS: ref the manual I am able to use the “Root Node Path”, however less flexible

It should work in all modes. Add some logging (temporarily!) to your `filterTag` function to see what’s going on.

Keep in mind that the historical mode is going to show tags that have history collected.
