# Want to receive Device Data using java

Hi,

Need some guidance on receive “device” data in my java code.

I followed under given steps.

1. Install ignition 7.9.9
2. Created “Simulators Generic Simulator” device using web admin
3. using Web admin “Quick Client” i am able to send and subscribe data.

but with java code “opc-ua-stack” I try to receive data - but not work for me,

How I can receive device data using java code?
