Im using a web browser component in Vision which I have done numerous times before and never had an issue. I currently use 3 other Web Browser components to different webpages within my system and all work properly With this specific webpage all the web browser component shows is “This site cant be reached” “The connection was reset”

I have used http and https with no luck. When i first added the component it worked for about a day and then went back to saying “This site cant be reached.” I have verified the certs for the site and they are all valid. This webpage also loads up fine through any web browser on my PC, just not through the Web Browser component in Vision.

Do i need to add a certificate to the gateway trust list through the server itself? Thats all I can think of that I havent tried so far. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Ignition version? I would suspect a websocket upgrade failure due to an old JxBrowser.

So? The broken one might be using an HTML5 or websocket feature that the others don't. 🤷‍♂️

You should upgrade to the latest v8.1 (it has a much newer JxBrowser) and **then** open a support ticket (if still happening).

Alright appreciate the response. I will give that a shot. Thank you.

Phil- 8.1.50 would be the latest release of 8.1 correct?

I have upgraded to 8.1.50 and still have the same issue. I updated designer and launcher as well and re created the page with the same result. Ticket time?

Completely unhelpful. Vision makes its connection directly from the client to the target URL. And ping doesn't test the HTTP(S) port(s).
