# What is going on with the cursor in the property script editing window?

Fairly often I find my cursor registering as a quarter of an inch to the right of my actual mouse cursor. I’ve also been having issues in 8.0 where the cursor shows itself one character to the right of where it truly is. Making even short edits of scripts pretty cumbersome and leading to a lot of mistakes/typos that otherwise wouldnt happen.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

A fix just recently got merged in - ie, Thursday, for 8.0.3. You can try a nightly build to see whether it’s working properly for you, or wait for an RC/full release of 8.0.3.
