# What license type should I use?

Hi, can anyone recommend the right Ignition license for my needs?  
I want to:

1. Connect to an S7 PLC and log tag data to MySQL
2. Create a trend view to monitor logged tags (no web view needed)

You will need minimum of:

- Single Vision Client License
- Ignition Platform
- Tag Historian

If you get rid of MySQL and are happy with only storing up to 4 weeks of data, you can get:

- Ignition Edge Panel
