# Why won't my memory tag bind to a slider?

Why won't my memory tag bind to a slider? It actually binds but the value property in the tag won’t update with the slider.

Set your binding to bi-directional.

I had bi-drecctional set, but the Project was not in Comm Read/Write mode.
