I have a Wintriss controller connected via Modbus tcp. When setting up addressing, I import a provided .OPF file, and Ignition says it was imported ok. But, no addresses are added to my device.

I assume you're talking about the address mapping page?

The import only works for the CSV format exported by the same page. It doesn't know what an OPF file is.

I recommend you ignore this page all together and just create tags in the Ignition Designer with OPC Item Paths that conform to the Modbus addressing syntax described in the user manual.
