Good morning, talking about the series tooltip of the XY Chart in Perspective, I wonder if is possible to set its position to top/bottom instead of left/right as it works by default. I use the XY chart as horizontal bar chart and when the tooltip shows up I'm not able to see that specific bar anymore because is cover by it. Thank you. ---

Are you wanted to rotate the tooltips? You can use the rotate property under style to rotate the tooltips to be vertical instead of horizontal. ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/inductiveautomation/original/3X/4/5/4564df33b0dd527373ef92756ffef82325a3caa3.png) Or are you trying to do something else? In my horizontal bar chart, the tooltips currently appear to the right/left of the bars. This is causing an issue where the tooltip for one bar overlaps and hides the adjacent bars, as shown in the screenshot. I get your frustration tooltips covering bars on horizontal charts can be annoying. By default, Perspective only lets tooltips appear left/right, so top/bottom isn’t built-in. You could try adjusting chart padding/margins, using a smaller tooltip, or creating a custom tooltip if scripting is allowed. That usually helps make the bars visible while hovering. ---

Tooltip orientation (left, right, up, down) is a feature of AM Charts on which this component is based. The [https://www.amcharts.com/docs/v5/concepts/common-elements/tooltips/#Orientation](https://www.amcharts.com/docs/v5/concepts/common-elements/tooltips/#Orientation) documentation shows how to set that in a native implementation. I don't know if it can be controlled via Perspective's interface. ---

I try also up or down without success, it looks like Perspective doesn’t support it.
