Alarm Label binding to tag Metadata

Hello all,

I’m trying to get my dynamic alarm labels bound to the Documentation information of each tag. I’m tyring to figure out a way to do all my alarms at once as there’s over 1500 of them (group tag modifications). I’ve tried a few different ways, but it doesn’t seem I can use TagName or InstanceName in the binding or expression.
Any other way of doing this?

you can do it programmatically in a java module. However there may be a way to do this in Jython scripts as well. Perhaps some scripting experts may be able to guide you.

Even though this was an older post, I hope this helps as I was also looking for this information but had trouble finding it.
