Show an image from a harddrive

Hi,

I would like to show an image from a folder in a hard-drive using Image component. I set the image source to “file:///C:/Users/PC/Desktop/mypic.png” but the does not show up.

I saw an old posting where it seems to work but not for me. I’m using 8.1

Am I missing something?

You tagged this for Perspective. Browsers generally don’t allow a website to specify resources on local devices. Bad guys in the world would love that, of course.
