It appears the function system.tag.storeTagHistory did not make it from 7.9 to 8.x. I have searched through the documentation for 8.0 and 8.1 and found no mention of this, nor has it been discussed on the forum that I could find.
Does anyone know if there is a suitable replacement for this functionality? Another function named oddly or a workaround?
We use this function anytime we have a customer moving from another historian to Ignition for the first time. It allows us to easily incorporate their old solution’s historical tag data, which is a huge selling point.
