I’m having issues with the Vision Client Launcher. We are deploying it via an installer to many of our PCs company wide as we did previously with the Ignition 7 client launcher.
With the v8 launcher I am able to bundle everything up and we are installing to the ProgramData folder on the PCs as all users need access to it that login. I can launch and configure the launcher fine, but then when launching a project, I get the below error. It seems that it is looking for the launchclient.jar in a different directory than where the launcher downloaded it to.
This sounds a lot like the issue described here. Pre-deploy launchers right now do not function as expected yet. It's currently being worked on though.
