Are diagnostic logs shown on portal part of Gateway logs?

How does 'com.inductiveautomation.logging.SQLiteAppender' work? Ignition

I'm trying to get all the gateway logs in a .log file using FileAppender. However, I'm unable to see the logs shown on UI (Diagnostic -> logs) which are maintained in .idb file using 'com.inductiveautomation.logging.SQLiteAppender'. Is there any way to get the diagnostic logs to a .log file ?
