I was able to test a new nightly today. The bugs described here are indeed solved. Thank you for that, but I ran into some other issues.

Designer got stuck on opening a template with errors

After updating to a new nightly (on b2019030102 now), I tried opening some of our default screens/templates. When opening our navigation template, it apparently crashed on a binding, and now the designer is stuck. I can’t close the error popup, and I can’t interact with the designer anymore. [image]

Detect wrong template references

Apparently, in 7.9, it used to be possible to include a project-specific template into a global template. When upgrading to 8.0, this makes the templates unavailable. I realise this isn’t good practice, and it’s not done on purpose, but rather a leftover from older projects (before the global scope). However, I wonder if there’s an easy way to detect all cases where this happened, and correct them manually.

[BUG -12995] Not able to add templates to a vision Window

I just had some time to try a new version (on b2019030102 now), and apparently, I can’t add templates to the windows or other templates. I’ve tried it both on the “global” project and a specific project. When I drag-and-drop a template to a window, I just get the “forbidden” cursor, and can’t put it there. This even happens with newly created, empty, templates and windows.
